Mechanical Project Manager – Central London

Irwin Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading M&E contractor that has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality Cat A & Cat B commercial fit-out projects across Central London.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their established delivery team.

The Role
You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical packages on fast-paced commercial fit-out projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Projects typically range from high-end office refurbishments and commercial fit-outs through to prestigious workplace developments across Central London.

Key Responsibilities
Manage mechanical packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
Monitor programme, quality, health & safety and commercial performance.
Attend client, design and progress meetings.
Work closely with the commercial and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Manage procurement of mechanical materials and subcontractors.
Oversee commissioning activities and ensure successful project handover.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager.
Strong background delivering Cat A & Cat B commercial fit-out projects.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical building services.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-track programmes.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred.
Stable employment history with recognised M&E contractors.
